Ali Grothe grew up in a family of artists. From a young age she was surrounded by people who had a true appreciation for the creative arts, from her grandmother to her aunt and cousins. As she got older, Ali began to express herself through fashion, even dabbling in Fine Arts in High School and college - yet she never really found her creative outlet. In the Spring of 2020, as the pandemic arrived and the restaurant industry she was involved with slowed down, Ali began creating food boards at home for her family to enjoy. Simple meat and cheese boards quickly grew into more elaborate themed boards. She spent countless hours researching and brainstorming new creations. As Ali began sharing her boards, she was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback from family and friends. She got her first big break when her soon to be business partner was asked to cater a beautiful outdoor wedding. He reached out to her for ideas and the next thing Ali knew, she was creating 100 charcuterie cups and a Fall themed grazing table for the wedding. It was at that moment, after she spent hours preparing and perfecting the table, that she realized this was what she was meant to do. Within days, Ali was booking other events and the creating began. When it came time to name her new business venture, she didn’t hesitate to incorporate the word “Bella,” which means beautiful in Italian. It’s Ali’s promise that every Bella Graze creation will truly be a beautiful piece of art that looks just as good as it tastes!
